Nigel Green's commanding height and imposing build made him a natural fit for military and action roles throughout the 1960s. He is best remembered for playing the steady, unflappable Colour Sergeant Frank Bourne in Zulu (1964), as well as Hercules in Jason and the Argonauts (1963) and Major Dalby in The Ipcress File (1965) opposite Michael Caine.
